Future Generations WV, in partnership with Frontier Communications, is pleased to announce the 2012 Benefits of Broadband Video contest!

West Virginia youth and young adults will have the opportunity to become the stars of an upcoming, statewide public service campaign for Future Generations WV Broadband Opportunities Program and Frontier Communications. The goal of the contest is to gather meaningful stories of West Virginians using broadband technology.

The winning videos will be 30 or 60 seconds in length and must demonstrate:

  1. how the Internet is used in the daily lives of West Virginians,
  2. creative ways people use Internet technology, and
  3. how “Life is better with Broadband.”

Videos must be uploaded to contestant’s channel on YouTube.com, and then submitted to Future Generations WV and Frontier Communications at www.futurewv.org/videocontest.

Entries are due by May 15, 2012, and winners will be announced on May 30.

The contest winner(s) will receive an Apple iPad and may be selected to appear in Future Generations WV/Frontier Communications public service announcements.
